Hass's is the nicest chippy I have ever been in. Not only is the interior clean and new, but they have a great selection of food, including some more gourmet offerings on the menu.
They use all fresh fish, picked up from the docks in Aberdeen. They make the fish fresh for each person...takes a few minutes to cook, but definitely worth the wait. Their prices are very reasonable...some things seemed down right cheap.
I was just surprised there wasn't a line out the door when I visited there, giving how good their food is. -

Good fish and chips but not the best I've ever eaten. The chips are good and fresh like the fish but kind of oily. The standard size is HUGE so if you have a small stomach, be prepared to share. It's take away but there are benches nearby to sit at on a nice day.

Hass's is hands down the best chipper in Aberdeen, the fish suppers in particular are to die for. People always claim that the Ashvales are the best chippers but I find the food heavy and greasy. Hass's fish is something that you actually crave!
It is no problem to wait for 10 minutes for your food to be freshly prepared, guaranteed to be piping hot when you get home!
The owner is so warm and welcoming and his younger members of staff are professional and chatty. I have found that a couple of the older ladies are quite hostile when I am served by them yet chat away to the regulars but to be honest, I could receive the worst service from them and still come back time after time for a tasty supper and have that batter that melts in your mouth!
Definitely having a Hass's supper for tea tonight now!! :D -

Oh my god we had the fish and chips there and it was outstanding I'm so spoiled now being back in the States I can't find fishing chips to compare
